I am a Project Leader
with The Boston Consulting Group in Boston where I focus on healthcare, biotechnology and economic development.
Over the last two years I have worked on projects in areas such as economic development, global public health, improving
biotech R&D productivity, and public policy in the life sciences sector.
Previously I was Vice
President at Bio Economic Research Associates (Bio-Era), a life sciences research and advisory firm in Cambridge. Before that I was a co-founder of Harvard
Business School’s Life
Sciences Project. I worked closely with Juan Enriquez and authored and co-authored several articles published in Latin
America and the US and have given various talks in Colombia, Mexico and the US about the life sciences revolution, innovation
and economic growth.
I was Student Associate
at the Center for International Development at Harvard University where I focused on public-private partnerships in the biotechnology arena.
Previously as an Intern at the World Bank I worked on the application of IT and Biotechnology to international development
projects.
I have a B.A. in
International Relations from ITAM in Mexico City, where I was a Bailleres Scholar and a Masters
in Public Administration in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where I was a World Bank
Scholar. I am married to April Edrington and we have a great 6 week old daughter, Sophia. We live in Massachusetts.
