The Bioeconomy website is evolving...
My name is Rodrigo Martinez, I am a Project Leader with The Boston Consulting Group in Boston and I am passionate about understanding how what we know about life is changing the world around us.
Bioeconomy refers to all economic activity related to the search and application of knowledge about how life operates. Our understanding
of life's "source code" is increasingly creating products and companies, as well as transforming industries such as agriculture,
healthcare, and energy.
As the 2.0 revolution evolves (be it Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0, or whatever 2.0) the bioeconomy will also begin to leverage and transform key dynamics of the 2.0 world,
such as loose modularity and empowerment of individuals. Imagine open source genetic code communities creating solutions to
health and industrial challenges. Oh, it is just starting to get fun!
Over the next couple of weeks I will be updating this site and adding a blog, but meanwhile feel free to see
the First Global Genetic Data Flow Map or peek at my publications.
Visit again soon or email me if you have any thoughts or questions about the bioeconomy,
Rodrigo
